As Harry Clarke, counsellor at Connect so succinctly put it
We’re not just legs, arms and a mouth...we are human beings with a mixture of emotions. All these feelings...self esteem, self worth, confidence, identity ...they’re all under attack after a stroke...you can feel vulnerable, frightened and you can lose yourself. Rehabilitation is as much about reinvention and finding direction as it is about functional ability.
A free to join and use, world wide learning community for stroke pathway therapists, physio’s, OT’s, SLT’s and researches. Body Activation is an antidote to traditional educational opportunities. It’s a dynamic learning community for hands on therapists from different disciplines and backgrounds. We meet away from the noise and distractions of other social media platforms, to ask and answer the questions that enable us to discover new ways of thinking, working and supporting our clients during their 24/7 rehabilitation journeys.
If this something you’d like to be part of? Then why not come and find out more by joining the conversations in the Body Activation Therapist Community.
